delete your account

delete from your profile

1. open the Zeltgold app and go to Profile.
2. tap Delete Account.

if you have no active jar or gold balance, your account is deleted right away. if you have savings in a jar or gold in a scheme, you'll need to redeem it at your jeweller first — once redeemed (nothing left to settle), the delete option unlocks and your account and data are removed.

what gets deleted

• your profile, saved jars/plans, and in-app activity history.
• device tokens, session data, and stored preferences.

what we retain, and why

• transaction and payment records — retained as required under Indian tax, accounting and payment-regulatory law.
• records tied to an unredeemed jeweller scheme — retained until redemption, refund or scheme closure is settled with the jeweller.
• data needed to resolve open support tickets or disputes.

retained data is kept only as long as legally necessary and is not used for marketing after deletion. see our privacy policy for details.
